Nicolle Moaney
Co-Founder & Director of Academic Strategy
Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Massachusetts, Nicolle has shown a passion for equity and excellence in education from an early age. A valedictorian and Williams College graduate, her English and Africana studies inform her constant focus on paying experiences forward so that others may be afforded quality opportunities. She has tutored elementary schoolers at the Boston Public Library, middle schoolers at the Mount Greylock Regional School and held internships to develop her teaching craft in both Boston through Generation Teach and in North Bethesda, Maryland at the Georgetown Preparatory School.
Nicolle began her career as an elementary school teacher with KIPP DC. In an effort to scale her impact, Nicolle joined the team at District of Columbia Public Schools where she currently serves students in the nation’s capital on the Instructional Talent Acquisition and Retention Team and the inaugural Superintendent’s Cabinet Advisory Board. In her free-time, Nicolle enjoys Latin dancing and traveling with her family.
